Description: The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is searching for an experienced and knowledgeable individual to be a subject matter expert in the Maintenance Operations division for two programs: bridge preservation and roadway and roadside safety features.

Duties and Responsibilities: The position is responsible for supporting and directing statewide bridge preservation maintenance and statewide roadway and roadside safety features, as well as assist with the pavement preservation program. The incumbent will manage the two programs and provide direction, guidance and support to regional maintenance personnel. Managing these programs will include identifying and implementing repair strategies that follow asset management principles. This position will also provide direction and guidance to manage the implementation of MASH Standards to the agency’s program regarding the installation and maintenance of roadside safety features.
