Bus Technician

Location: Fayetteville, Ark.

Salary: $29,251 – $38,719 (commensurate with education and/or experience)

Description: University of Arkansas Razorback Transit is currently seeking a qualified Transit Bus Technician. Fayetteville is in the top 5 “Best Places to Live” according to U.S. News.

Duties and Responsibilities: The Transit Bus Technician is responsible for the safe, timely repair, and maintenance of heavy-duty transit vehicles, passenger vehicles, and other fleet vehicles used in transporting passengers to specific destinations within the City of Fayetteville, Ark.


  • Associate’s degree or advanced specialized or technical training
  • Commercial Driver’s License
  • ASE Certification
  • At least one year of heavy truck/ transit maintenance experience
