Description: The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking an experienced candidate to help improve transportation in our state through their grants program. Currently the Public Transportation Division is seeking to fill a Grant Analyst – Transportation Planning Specialist 5 vacancy.

Duties and Responsibilities: We are seeking a highly motivated grants program manager who will deliver funding to our grantees in a timely, transparent and responsible manner. This position will use sophisticated engagement and collaboration techniques, and implement process improvements on an ongoing basis. This position reports to the Grants and Community Partnerships Manager and focuses on the process elements of awarding and reporting on public transportation grants. The Public Transportation Division manages multiple state and federal grants programs. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Federal Transit Administration requirements, be deadline driven, and be open to working in a collaborative manner.
