ITB: ODOT Vehicle Term Contract
Deadline: All bids are due on May 12, 2021 by 1:00 p.m. EDT
On April 12 the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) posted Invitations to Bid (ITB) for new transit vehicle contracts. These include the following vehicle types: Modified Minivan (MMV), Accessible Van (AV), Light Transit Vehicle, Fiberglass over Steel and Honeycomb construction (LTV), Light Transit Vehicle-Narrow Body (LTN), and the Light Transit Vehicle-Low Floor (LTL).
A maximum of the three lowest responsive vendors will be chosen for each vehicle type, giving our program subrecipients and other permitted entities the option to purchase from multiple vendors. Please see the ITB documents for vehicle specifications and the bidding requirements.
All bids are due on May 12, 2021 by 1:00 p.m. EDT and must be submitted electronically through the ODOT Office of Contracts. The link to the Invitation to Bid can be found here. Any questions regarding the ITB must be addressed to the Office of Contracts through the process indicated in the ITB cover page.
A pre-bid virtual meeting will be held on April 28, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Please see the ITB document for instructions on how to attend. The bids received shall be opened and the results of the opening shall be publicly available on the ODOT Office of Transits website here after the bid opening.
