Description: The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking a proven professional to fill a Lean Manager role.

Duties and Responsibilities: In support of fostering an organizational culture of continuous improvement, this designated expert serves as a trusted management consultant, provides training and coaching to internal Lean practitioners, performs complex analysis and assessments, and formulates recommendations to address opportunities throughout the organization. This position develops and empowers our employees by providing them with resources and skills to be partners in improving agency processes and culture. The incumbent will need to have a wide array of practical experience in Lean practices and proven past successes in facilitation of both large and small groups, continuous improvement, training, performance measurement, and change management.
