Operations Manager (two openings)

Salary: $65,292.00 – 92,652.00

Description: St. Cloud Metro Bus seeks two Operations Managers: One (1) fixed-route; One (1) dial-a-ride and dispatch. Hours per week are 45-50 typical. This position requires the employee to be available 24/7 in person or by phone.

Duties and Responsibilities: The Operations Manager position is responsible for supervision of the Street Supervisors, Scheduling and Service Support Specialist, Operators, and Dispatch staff in the management of day-to-day operations of Metro Bus’s public transportation system. The Operations Manager is responsible for the administration and/or development of programs to assist with reducing accidents, improving on-time performance, resolving operational issues, customer relations, and enforcing Metro Bus operations rules and policies.

Qualifications: The job requires a four (4) year degree in business, public administration, personnel or transportation or related field and five (5) years of management and supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer skills, experience and knowledge working with Microsoft Office Suite are required.
