RFP: Consulting Services

Deadline: Feb. 1, 2021

Proposals in response to this RFP will be received thru February 1, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The complete RFP is available upon request directed to James F. Dunn (517-648-1036) and email: jfdunnpc@aol.com.

It is expected that, based upon the responses and a recommendation from the Steering Committee, that the Mackinac Island Transportation Authority Board of Directors shall award to the highest scored respondent and execute a contract with same by Feb. 15, 2021.

The Final Study and Master Plan must be submitted in writing no later than June 15, 2021.

Questions regarding this Request for Proposals shall be directed to James F. Dunn (517-648-1036) and email: jfdunnpc@aol.com. Questions and answers prior to award will be sent to all firms sent an RFP and to any firms who have submitted questions or proposals.

Proposals will be submitted as per the instructions in the RFP. Award shall be made by giving written notice to the Proposer whose proposal best conforms to the RFP and will be the most advantageous to the Mackinac Island Transportation Authority. Other factors to be considered may include, but are not limited to, quality, uniformity of product, and Proposer’s past performance on other contracts. Award may be made to other than the low-cost proposal. However, all proposals may be rejected if the Mackinac Island Transportation Authority determines that rejection is in the public interest.
