RFP: Transit Development Plan

Location: Bozeman, Mont.

Deadline: August 16, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. MDT.

HRDC is seeking proposals for a Transportation Planning Consultant to create a Transit Development Plan for the Bozeman area and surrounding communities.

The main goals of this project include the following:

  • Assess the transportation needs within the Bozeman community
  • Assess the regional commuter needs of Four Corners, Belgrade, and Livingston
  • Examine potential fixed-route expansions within Belgrade and potential commuter service expansions to Manhattan and Three Forks
  • Create a comprehensive Transit Development Plan that takes into account the transit needs identified in HRDC’s needs assessment, the transit goals identified in HRDC’s strategic plan, and any other transit needs identified by community members via public meetings, open houses, focus groups, etc.

Proposals will be received until August 16, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. MDT. The Proposal must be signed and shall be delivered to HRDC within the time set forth in this Request for Proposals (RFP). Three (3) printed copies of the proposal and one (1) electronic copy of the proposal (on a flash drive) should be mailed to and received by the contact person at the address below before the submittal deadline. Proposals should be enclosed in sealed envelopes and marked as follows:
