RFP: Transit Management Services

Location: Gloucester, Mass.

Deadline: Oct. 8 11:00 a.m. local time

The Cape Ann Transportation Authority (CATA) is seeking proposals from qualified proposers to provide transit management services and assume the operation of CATA’s public transportation services and related support vehicles, equipment, and facilities. The resulting contract will commence on or about Jan. 1, 2022 through Dec. 31, 2024 with two one-year options to Dec. 31, 2026

Proposals are due not later than 11:00 a.m., local time, Friday, Oct. 8, 2021 at CATA’s office located at 3 Pond Road, Gloucester, MA 01930.

A virtual pre-proposal meeting will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.

The service is financed in part through a grant from the Federal Transit Administration and any contract entered into is subject to the provisions of applicable laws governing that grant. All resulting contracts will be subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

It is the goal of CATA that certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises participate in a minimum of 4.31 percent of the total value of the goods and services procured in FFY22-FFY24. Any future contractor will be asked to assist CATA in meeting this goal. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation notice.
