RFP: Vehicle Collision Avoidance System

The Bay Area Transportation Authority (BATA) seeks Proposals from qualified vendors for the purchase, installation and support of a Vehicle Collision Avoidance System.

As part of a research project to assess the benefits of early connected and automated vehicle (CAV) technologies for transit agencies, BATA intends to deploy an advanced driver assistance system on a subset of their vehicle fleet.

This pilot project will be carefully documented in order to provide guidance to other transit agencies exploring similar technology solutions.

Proposals must be submitted by March 27, 2020, 4:00 p.m. (Eastern).
