Description: The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Freight Systems Division is seeking an experienced transportation Planner to fill the Freight Transportation Planner position that can either be stationed in Seattle or Olympia.

Duties and Responsibilities: This position develops, implements and applies a strong freight system planning and analytic program, with a focus on multimodal connectivity of freight systems that provide practical solutions support for the state. The successful incumbent will serve as the agency’s subject matter expert in developing and implementing the Washington State Freight System plan, and develop and apply freight planning principles to and from other modes of transportation in Washington State.
