Transportation Planning Technician 1 (2 Positions)

Salary: $17.84-$23.22 hourly

Description: Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has is seeking to fill two temporary Transportation Planning Technicians to support the Transportation Data GIS & Modeling Office.

Duties and Responsibilities: These positions report directly to the Short Count Field Supervisor in Tumwater, and are responsible installing, programming, and validating data collection equipment installed in the field as well as perform manual counts at locations around the state. The traffic data is used throughout the department to meet the agency’s mission needs and also helps meet Federal HPMS requirements.
