Description: The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking a Capital Facilities Prioritization Specialist in the Capital Facilities Office in Tumwater, Wash.
Duties and Responsibilities: This position independently performs highly-technical analysis, development of professional policy, and management assignments which support the planning and prioritization of the statewide capital facilities improvements. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the planning policy for collecting, analyzing and reporting on the Facility Work Request for all capital facilities and safety rest areas in the state.
Qualifications: As this is a statewide position, the successful candidate must develop strong relationships with regional facility managers and other regional and HQ staff that do not directly report to the office to ensure processes and procedures are followed, and objectives are met. With the support of a multi-disciplined team of architects, engineers, facilities planners, and other professional staff, this position will direct, conduct and complete long-range and short-term assignments that will assist in the prioritization and delivery of statewide major and minor capital facilities projects.
