If your certification status has expired within the last 90 days of today's date and you meet the recertification requirements, you are eligible to renew your status online. After 90 days, you will no longer be eligible to renew your status online which will result in a loss of your certification status.

To renew your PASS Trainer certification, the registrant MUST hold a current (PASS) Trainer certification, Pay the required recertification fee.
If your PASS Trainer certification has expired: Register and pay the registration fee to attend the PASS Train-the-Trainer course, click our Training Calendar for more information.
To renew your PASS Driver certification, the registrant must have a current CTAA (PASS) wheelchair occupant securement certificate on file with CTAA office in category A or category B;
Option I - Driver completed the PASS Basic Renewal Online on the CTAA website and driver must attend wheelchair class in person conducted by a certified CTAA (PASS) Trainer in order to receive PASS driver certification. Driver must contact CTAA (PASS) Trainer to schedule securement class; additional fees will apply. Email rideshare@ctaa.org for list.
Option II - Driver completes the PASS Driver Classroom training online, eligible participants can register here, pay required fee and choose the "Driver" option. Must upload certificate for verification
Failure to recertify your driver status at the end of the two-year certification period will result in a loss of your certification status. You will be required complete basic online and must attend wheelchair class in person conducted by a certified CTAA (PASS) Trainer.
