Ohio DOT Office of Transit is accepting bids for Heavy Duty Transit Buses. These multi-year contracts will provide vehicles to urban agencies across Ohio. Contracts will start on January 1, 2024 and be valid through December 31, 2028. A maximum of the three lowest responsive vendors will be chosen for the fifteen different types of heavy duty transit buses: 30’, 35’, and 40’ length buses in various propulsion systems: Hydrogen Fuel Cell, Hybrid, Diesel, Battery Electric, and CNG.
