Join fellow transit leaders, CTAA staff, Board of Directors, South West Transit Association (SWTA), and Iowa Public Transit Association (IPTA) on Capitol Hill to speak with your legislators to discuss priorities impacting community transportation systems and partners in advance of the Surface Transportation Reauthorization and other legislation. We’ll book your meetings, you tell the unique story of your system. Attendees will be provided with resources and coaching from CTAA during the event on site as well as virtually in advance. All attendees will receive information on the briefing webinar in early 2026.
Events surrounding the Legislative Fly-in will all be held at the Georgetown Marriott in Washington D.C.

The Summit is an event designed for those in an executive leadership role (CEO, GM, Executive Director) to meet with their peers for a deep dive on the challenges and opportunities facing transit systems. High-level keynote speakers, panel discussions, and sessions will give rural, tribal, small city, and specialized transit system leadership actionable and credible information that can impact their community and organization immediately.
The Summit will be held Tuesday March 3, 2026 from 1:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., and Wednesday March 4, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Location for the Summit will be the same hotel as the 2026 Legislative Fly-In events. Room block link will be shared soon. Reach out to events@ctaa.org with questions.
