Community Transportation Association of America Board of Directors Meets in Shreveport, La., hosted by SporTran
Board welcomes two new Directors, discuss challenges and opportunities facing public transit
Washington, D.C. – [November 7, 2025] – The Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA) Board of Directors welcomed two new board members during its recent meeting in Shreveport, La., held Nov. 6-7, 2025. National Board Member Dinero’ Washington hosted the meeting at the SporTran facility.
Todd Beutler, CEO and General Manager of Connect Transit in North Logan, Utah, has joined as a National Director. “Having been involved with CTAA for many years, joining the Board of Directors has always been an aspiration of mine,” shares Mr. Beutler. “I am eager to collaborate with the current board and staff, which includes esteemed transit leaders I’ve long known and worked with, as well as impressive new colleagues I look forward to getting to know better. I plan to bring my 30 years of experience in public transit to the table to contribute to the board’s efforts.”
Megan Gould, Division Manager of the Rapid Transit System in Rapid City, S.D., has joined as the Upper Midwest Regional Director. “As the leader of a small urban transportation agency, I have a deep appreciation for CTAA,” says Ms. Gould. “Joining its Board of Directors presents a valuable opportunity for my career and to increase my involvement in an organization I believe in. As the new Upper Midwest Regional Director I am eager to provide support to other agencies in my region, and get to know how I can best contribute to the board’s overall goals and strategic oversight.”
Scott Bogren, Executive Director, addressed the board during the first day of the meeting, noting the high caliber of individuals seeking to join the organization’s Board of Directors, which “says good things about our organization.” He emphasized CTAA’s role in helping members navigate, understand, and unify in the face of volatility affecting the entire industry, from bus manufacturers and parts suppliers to transit agencies. Bogren stressed the importance of ensuring CTAA remains effective for its members and highlighted the many opportunities available to provide support.
