Duties and Responsibilities: The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Multimodal Planning Division is seeking a highly skilled, critical thinking and independent candidate for their Multimodal Planner – Transportation Planning Specialist 2 position in Olympia, Wash. This position is responsible for participating in transportation planning projects and GIS analysis to support the development of the Washington State Highway System Plan (HSP), Washington Transportation Plan (WTP), and other planning projects. Transportation planning activities may include writing, analysis, community engagement, carrying out the completion of projects, and summarization of transportation data. This position is also responsible for assisting with planning assignments, completing reports, and preparing studies.
