On May 30, 2019, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) posted Invitations to Bid (ITB) for new transit vehicle contracts. These include the following vehicle types: Modified Minivan (MMV), Accessible Van (AV), Light Transit Vehicle, Fiberglass over Steel and Honeycomb construction (LTV), Light Transit Vehicle-Narrow Body (LTN), and the Light Transit Vehicle-Low Floor (LTL).

A maximum of three vendors will be chosen for each vehicle type, giving our subrecipients and other permitted buyers the option to purchase from multiple vendors. Also, the LTN will no longer be offered on the E-350 chassis but will instead be a cutaway Ford Transit or equivalent.

The deadline for all bids has been extended to July 11, 2019 by 2:00 p.m. EST. The bid submission format has been revised to hard copy, paper bids submitted to:
