CTAA Brings the 38th Annual EXPO and 33rd National ‘Roadeo’ to West Palm Beach, Florida, June 9-11.

Public transit industry professionals from around the country come together to learn, share best practices, collaborate, and celebrate

Washington, D.C., April 11, 2024 – The Community Transportation Association of America [CTAA] is once again hosting the community transportation industry’s premier annual event for learning, training, and networking, The CTAA EXPO. This year the EXPO and 33rd National Community Transportation Roadeo will be held in West Palm Beach, Florida, June 9 – 11.

“CTAA members look forward all year to the Community Transportation EXPO and National Roadeo,” says CTAA Executive Director Scott Bogren. “It’s an important time to share innovative strategies, see first-hand the latest transit industry products and services, and reconnect with friends and partners.”

CTAA’s more than 1,200 members offer essential services to communities across the United States, ensuring people of all ages, abilities, and circumstances can safely get to work, school, and health care, and stay connected to friends and family. “EXPO brings our members high-quality workshops and training, unique networking, and informative tours and site visits,” shares Loreal Lance, CTAA’s Director of Member Services, Business Development, and Events. “This year the EXPO will host more attendees than ever thanks to our reputation in the industry for prioritizing world-class and innovative workshops as well as unique networking and collaboration opportunities.”

The weekend before the EXPO, CTAA will host the 33rd National Community Transportation Roadeo, a competition between winning drivers at various State and local Roadeos held nationwide. Drivers can compete in BOC/Cutaways or 35-foot Fixed-Route divisions.

“The CTAA Roadeo is the only national venue to celebrate and showcase rural and community transit operators,” says Andrew Carpenter, this year’s Roadeo organizer and Director of CTAA’s N-CATT technical assistance center. “This is such a fun and exciting safety event drawing drivers from around the country to compete for top scores on a course that tests skills on every level of the drivers’ abilities. It’s something you have to see to understand the hype. This year as
ever, there is a focus on safe operations and passenger sensitivity.”
