Salary: $26.84 – $34.25 Hourly; 1.0 FTE, AFSCME represented position; 12-month probationary period

Description: The City of Corvallis seeks a Special and Rural Transportation Coordinator to plan, implement, promote and monitor rural and special transportation services throughout Benton County.

Duties and Responsibilities: Perform a variety of routine, complex, and technical work in the planning, development, implementation, promotion, reporting and monitoring of rural and special transportation services to meet the needs of community members and visitors throughout Benton County. Work independently and with others in researching, developing, promoting, implementing, and providing customer support regarding rural and special transportation services, grant management, staffing two Benton County Board of Commissioners advisory committees, and managing mandated federal and state reporting requirements for Benton County. These tasks are illustrative only and may include other related duties.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy or Administration, Urban or Transportation Planning, or a related field. Two years of related experience in public policy, public transportation, transportation planning, or a related field. Additional and/or specific public transit program management experience is highly desirable.
