Duties and Responsibilities: Work with our Bus Operators to provide safe and efficient transportation to many in our community. This position assists the Transit Manager with the daily operations of the Transit System, including training and supervising bus operators, scheduling and covering work, if needed. This position also helps to cover other Transit Supervisors’ time off as needed.

Qualifications: The ideal applicant must possess (or obtain) and maintain a valid Class B CDL with P endorsement and no air brake restriction, must be able to obtain and maintain certification in a Defensive Driver Instructor Course, have 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel, and 2 years of supervisory or Transit experience. A high school diploma or equivalent (GED, etc.) is required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
