Of these 41 projects, 9 were awarded to CTAA members. The CTAA member project sponsors consisted of 4 state DOTs and 5 small-urban transit providers, amounting to a total of $23,329,261 (roughly 18 percent of the total amount awarded.) Eight projects will use the grant to purchase new electric buses and charging infrastructure. One project will be using the funds to purchase new hybrid electric vans.
